One of our goals over the next few years is to update the bathrooms for several residents. Our houses were built in the 70’s and 80’s for a younger and more mobile bunch of residents. We believe strongly that these houses are the residents’ homes (not facilities) and want to do whatever can be done to ensure they remain with their long-term friends. The sad truth is that many of our tubs/showers turn what should be a relaxing experience (a warm shower) into a difficult process. What we’d like to do is convert all of our bathtub/shower combinations into roll-in/walk-in showers. This, of course, is going to require a substantial cost.
